Our premium range of Uni is carefully assessed and selected twice a week by our Uni auctioneers in Toyosu. The large Bafun Uni contains premium Grade A Yellow Uni most commonly used at high end sushiyas around the world. The taste profile is one of a kind, sweet rich and packed with umami flavors with a firm yet creamy texture.
Freshly caught Bafun Uni should have a bright orange and yellow appearance. The taste should never be fishy and leaves a subtle after taste of the ocean. Fresh Uni can also be identified through its aroma that is slightly briny and not have a strong fishiness smell to it.
Kindly note that the brand of Large Bafun Uni may differ as the brand depicted. Our Uni auctioneers will select the brand that is most recommended at the time of auction.
