Reared to be Japan’s most expensive wagyu. Matsusaka beef is the meat of Japanese black cattle reared under strict conditions in the Matsusaka region of Mmie in Japan. Wagyu under the Matsusaka name must meet strict standards. Only virgin female cows can be sold as Matsusaka beef that have is fed a diet of corn and soya beans and beer and hand massaged with shochu spirit.
Wagyu is like wine. Every region in Japan produces its own unique cattle as a result of the differing climate, environmental and breeding techniques.
